Camilo Vivas: Artist, Designer, and Producer based in New York City

As an artist and designer, I bridge cultures across continents through drawings, videos, and animations. As a producer, I specialize in cultural management, creative entrepreneurship, and EdTech programs. As a person, I embody sensitivity, persistence, and love, balancing creativity, pragmatism, and romanticism.

My core skills include organizing, writing, and visualizing, merging digital and analog media. I am fluent in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.

I strive to create artworks that reflect and engage with the identities, landscapes, and cultural heritage of the places I have encountered, migrated to, or immersed myself in through my artistic expressions. Europe, the USA, and Latin America serve as the primary territories for my artistic and creative endeavors, where I have engaged in numerous collective exhibitions, curatorships, and shows.

Throughout my 20 years of experience, I have actively contributed to multiple cultural organizations, projects, events, and creative teams. I establish and facilitate art spaces and platforms to bolster colleagues and artists in their creative pursuits.

My ethical compass is rooted in the defense of life as the paramount value, echoing the beliefs of the Vitalists from German philosophy schools and indigenous peoples worldwide, who have consistently emphasized it as the fundamental purpose of human life.
